Linda Donalds has been a Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) since January 1998, when she completed their "Certification in Hypnotism" course (a core-curriculum training program consisting of 100 hours of classroom study). Each year since then, she has attended the NGH Annual Convention and taken over 450+ hours of continuing education to maintain her hypnosis certification and to further develop her knowledge and skills. Charlotte is a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Practitioner and has been using the Usui Reiki system of natural healing since 2005.  She received her knowledge and initiations of First and Second Degree and Master Practitioner from Rev. Virginia Marie Ferrari at the Heritage Holistic Center in Virginia Beach, VA.  Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and causes us to be alive.  If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or to feel stress.  If it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.  All Reiki treatments are performed with the recipient fully clothed.  You lie on a padded massage table with pillows and blankets provided for extra comfort.  Soft lighting and soothing background music are utilized to promote relaxation.  Most people report a feeling of relaxation and well being after a treatment that can last for several days.  Everyone can benefit from Reiki treatments.  There are no negative side effects with Reiki.
